What can I or my loved one expect?

At C.H.F.S., caring is more than providing excellent skilled direct care, and residential services to individuals. It’s also being gentle and treating individuals with the utmost dignity, respect and compassion.

It’s what we call “the compassionate way of providing care” and it comes from within each of us. We encourage our staff to approach work with the mindset of “Love your neighbor as yourself,” something we can apply to all areas of our lives.

We also offer:

  • Extensive community integration and assimilation activites.

  • Health and Safety awareness for individuals.

  • We serve both ID and DD waiver recipients at our Day Support.

Staffing Standards

Our staffing ratio is above the status quo. We believe in a staffing ratio that allows for adequate supervision without compromising safety.

Additionally, direct care staff of C.H.F.S. are trained in Therapeutic Option Behavior Management technique to help individuals manage behavioral issues that may pose physical threat or harm to self and others.

Having a ‘good life’ to us means residing and receiving services in an environment where one is listened too, integrity is modeled, individuals are respected, and are free to pursue freedom of everyday living to the fullest in abounding joy.

We assist individuals and promote skills acquisition in a warm, safe, and inviting home and community environment.
